The COMIC MARKET 45th Anniversary Book (コミックマーケット45周年記念イラスト集) is a special anthology illustration collection released by Comiket in celebration of it's 45th Anniversary, with contributions from 205 dōjinshi circles.[1] One of these circles, Shimaoka Kenkoh Land, contributed an illustration by Hidekaz Himaruya.
Material by Hidekaz Himaruya
Himaruya submitted a single illustration page, portions of which were teased online by Shimaoka Kenkoh Land's twitter account prior to the book's publication.[2][3] The illustration features the debut of a new, unidentified character (later revealed to be Philippines), along with two other characters whose faces were censored out in previews made publicly available. Upon publication, it was revealed that the other characters were Thailand and another new, unidentified character (later revealed to be Indonesia).[4]
