Funimation Global Group, LLC (formerly known as Funimation Productions and Funimation Entertainment, and often stylized as FUNimation) is an American entertainment company that has licensed and dubbed all anime properties of Hetalia in English for distribution in North America.
Based in Flower Mound, Texas, it was founded in 1994 and produces, markets, and distributes anime primarily in the United States and Canada. Since 2019, Sony Pictures Entertainment (via Sony Pictures Television) and Sony Music Entertainment Japan (via Aniplex) own Funimation as a joint venture.[1][2] It also serves as the parent company for the UK branch of Manga Entertainment.
