The 2007 Christmas Event (2007年クリスマスまとめ 2007-nen Kurisumasu Matome , lit. "2007 Christmas Summary") is a site event that ran from December 24 - 25, 2007 in observance of Christmas. The plot of the event follows Finland taking the role of Santa Claus and answering reader questions and requests with Hanatamago on Christmas Eve. However, France arrives and takes over the event with the goal of taking lurid photos of the other nations.
A follow-up comic, The Christmas Sequel (クリスマスの後日談 Kurisumasu no gojitsu-dan ), shows France hanging out with England and America in the aftermath of the event. Meanwhile, Noto-sama conspires with Yamato to get revenge on Christmas after he spends it all alone. This sequel was later removed from the site in 2008 along with other content from Advance! Kitakou Broadcasting Club Pure.

Plot Summary
Prologue
Finland begins the event taking time from his duties as Santa Claus to answer reader questions and requests, and is surprised to discover Hanatamago can talk for this event. They begin answering reader questions, and the first letter prompts Finland to give them a special treat (Salmiakki) that he'd been saving, much to Hanatamago's disgust. The next few questions involve asking Finland where Sweden is (with Finland denying he's his "wife" in response) and various readers wishing him luck with his duties. One alludes to a "bloodbath" event, much to Finland's confusion and concern, though he quickly moves on to an explanation of early Finnish Christmas traditions and posts a picture of himself holding a Christmas cake.
Another reader mentions that his cousin isn't getting a present from his parents due to bad exam scores, so Finland sends him some Kalakukko, to Hanatamago's continued disgust. The next question asks Finland what he'd give Hanatamago for a Christmas present, and Hanatamago is horrified to learn that Finland has a special treat (presumably food) for her at home. Another letter makes reference to a "bloodbath", leading Finland to wonder if Japan has similar traditions to the ones Finland used to have, though Hanatamago is skeptical. Over the next few letters, Finland gives out Christmas decorations to help one reader's grandmother with her tree, responds to a reader's question about Estonia's Christmas traditions, and gives a guitar to another reader who had asked for Finland's hand in marriage. One letter asks Finland about the way Japan has interpreted certain Christmas traditions, while another asks for Seirogan for their weak stomach.
Finland reveals that he considers the letters he receives gifts themselves, and talks about how the nations get together and have a Christmas party with food from all over the world. The next several questions ask Finland more about Christmas traditions in his own home, such as drinking Salmiakki Koskenkorva instead of Champagne and how Finland is used to the cold weather and works hard during Christmas. A couple of questions mention a bloodbath, thouh Hanatamago's answers focus instead on them pointing out the "bloody" part in her name. For the next few responses, Finland provides pictures of Sweden, Hanatamago with her paw up, and an old photo of Denmark and Norway with their backs turned. Amongst more general well wishes, one reader says they want to try something Finland's cooked, and he offers up a roast muikku, which is something that Hanatamago actually likes.
One heartbroken reader asks Finland to get England to comfort her, and England inexplicably shows up already drunk. When Finland passes along the request, England seems to sober up and encourages them to move on and find new love, before slipping back into a drunken state. After they let him go, Finland describes what the Benelux countries are like in response to another question, while the shadowy figure of France is seen lurking in the background. As midnight approaches, Hanatamago says she has a bad feeling, but Finland says he has a good feeling. The next letter is an urgent warning telling them to run, confirming Hanatamago's uneasiness, but Finland isn't convinced and says he has to stay and finish his duties as Santa.
Finland shows off her Santa outfit per a request, and Hanatamago gives her opinion on her unusual name, but the letters increasingly contain warnings that they should leave for their own safety. Hanatamago is adamant they should leave, but Finland insists on answering the rest of the letters. The next request asks to see Finland's holiday smile, and as he poses for a picture with Hanatamago, France appears behind him. The lights go out and Finland is attacked.
Main Event
France takes a racy photo of Finland naked and tied up, and leaves to continue to turn Christmas into a "bloodbath".
Italy and Germany are out on the town when France sets his sights on them for his next targets. Italy spots a vendor selling candy apples, and Germany asks if it would be better to have cake at home. Italy says that it's better if you just eat whenever you're hungry, so Germany goes over to purchase three candy apples. The vendor, France in disguise, says that this store doesn't accept money, and that you have to undress as payment. Germany is scandalized, and France says orders can't be cancelled either. Italy asks Germany if he doesn't like candy apples, but Germany says he's uneasy because the payment method is strange. Nonetheless, Italy completely strips and begins eating one of the apples. France is stunned, and Germany tells Italy that it's cold and he should put his clothes back on.
To make up for his failure to strip Germany, France posts a shirtless picture of himself flexing, his chest hair shaved. Going off another request, France goes to Spain's house only to be turned away as he's about to take a bath. Frustrated, France ends up groping Romano's chest. Following this, France reads a number of requests to see characters such as Russia and Switzerland, whom France suspects would send him to heaven if he tried anything. Instead, he posts a photo of himself messing around with Seychelles in response to a different request.
Prussia walks around outside by himself, insisting that he's so happy being alone and that he's not bitter at all seeing all the happy couples walking around him. Nearby, Hungary tries on a hat with a face on it and shows it to Austria, who offers to buy it for her. As she thanks him profusely, Prussia stares and then begins to cry, trying to rationalize that being alone means saving money. At that moment, the vendor, France in disguise, catches his eye. Soon, France and a Prussia disguised in a mascot costume demand that Austria strip as payment for the hat. However, Prussia gets into into the act and gets increasingly belligerent in his demands that Austria strip. France pulls off Prussia's mascot head and tells him not to upstage him, and Prussia freezes in shock. Nearby, Hungary holds a video camera and expresses disgust that the lurid display that just played out was because of Prussia, and attacks him with a frying pan. Prussia has his clothes stripped off in retribution as he apologizes and begs forgiveness, and Hungary thanks "Santa" for her present.
Back at Finland's home, he tries to escape but ends up falling asleep. The next letter asks to see Turkey without his mask, and while France his on his way to fulfill this request he's stopped by Greece. The two struggle, and Greece to strip instead, much to France's confusion. Exposing his bare chest, Greece chants "do not want Turkey" over and over until France relents and agrees to his terms if Greece goes out dressed in the same outfit he's wearing. Soon, the two are walking about in the nude wearing cat ears, but France insists he must honor his promise and take off Turkey's mask. Just then, Turkey shows up and asks what they're doing, and he and Greece begin to bicker like normal. As France prepares to take his mask he's shocked to discover that he's not wearing it, and Turkey explains that he broke so he's out to buy a new one. Greece and Turkey begin to physically fight, and France declares that he doesn't care about the mask anymore and wanders off. As he leaves, Turkey notices and asks why he left so suddenly.
France poses for a picture with Latvia and Sealand, and then has a string of losses as America was already naked and waiting for him, and Egypt just tries to sell him pottery. Forlorn, France gropes Russia's chest, and then apologizes while Russia says that he's not bothered... but he never feels that way. Afterwards, France sneaks into Switzerland's house to take an embarrassing picture of him in his pajamas, but ends up getting shot immediately gets shot. Assuming this is how he's gonna die, France reflects on the crappy circumstances of it and then imagines England mocking him. Rallying, France pulls himself back from the brink. He shows up at Japan's house looking for England, interrupting his relaxing day and stripping off his robe during his search. He quickly leaves, still fuming, while Japan looks on in confusion.
France finally finds England waiting for him in a Naked Butler's uniform. England declares that it's time for payback for what happened during April Fools', and France says he's ready to fight and win, and that he'll take England down before he falls. As France prepares to land the first punch, his phone starts to ring and he stops to take the call. Italy's on the other end and wishes him a Merry Christmas, and while France tries to end the call to get back to the battle, Italy talks about how much fun he had spending time with Germany and Austria and celebrating the Holiday. France is stunned, and Italy says that Christmas was fun before hanging up. France begins to cry, lamenting that everyone has fun on Christmas except for them and that it sucks to be alone on Christmas. England says that America's Christmas had only just begun, and both their spirits brighten.
Sequel
- This portion of the event was later removed at some point in 2008 and is no longer publicly viewable on Kitayume. For more information see Lost strips of Hetalia: Axis Powers.
At America's house, the three nations sit around a table in their stripped down outfits and listen to the end of France's account of what happened earlier. America expresses jealousy on being left out of all the fun, and England and France declare that they've experienced the wonderfulness of friendship, much to America's amusement. America says that Christmas ending makes him feel sad and asks not to be excluded next year. England points out that Spain celebrates Christmas until January 6th, so it's actually only just begun.
Reinvigorated, they go find Lithuania and wish him a Merry Christmas. Lithuania is shocked by how they're dressed and stares at them uncomfortably while they continue to wish him a Merry Christmas. He asks them why they're all undressed, and America asks him instead why he's not buck naked. England and France also demand that he strip naked, and Lithuania reluctantly begins to take off his clothes, wondering why he has to be naked in public on Christmas. He decides that it's all Russia's fault, and aggressively pulls off his clothes and flings them away. America is excited and picks up Lithuania in his arms and says they should be going. Lithuania is confused, and America explains they're going to his house.
While all this is happening, various illustrations and requests are scattered throughout. Picking up from earlier, Turkey asks Greece if he's cold and offers him his scarf. A naked Spain tells France he's going to sleep and asks if he can do his bloodbath activity tomorrow, and Estonia spots France spying on him. Further illustrations show Prussia paying Austria and Hungary a visit, China putting his hair in pigtails, Russia in bed contemplating how he should pay back France next year, Sweden finding Finland naked and tied up, and Latvia and Sealand hanging out on Christmas. America and the others arrive at Lithuania's house and barge in to discover Poland inside wearing a revealing Christmas themed outfit with a skirt. France demands to know what's going on while Lithuania becomes overwhelmed by everything that's going on.
In Japan, Noto-sama laments that Toyama, his family, and everyone else was busy on Christmas so he ended up spending it all by himself. Yamato says that he should have given him a call, and Noto-sama scolds him for pitying him just because he got a bunch of presents. Yamato says that he only spent Christmas with a bunch of guys, and describes a day spent eating candy, going to an arcade, and then stargazing, which only makes Noto-sama more upset. Yamato offers him a scarf he recieved as a gift, but Noto-sama realizes that it's handmade and tells him to go to hell. Yamato says he should just forget about Christmas and focus on Valentine's day instead, but Noto-sama asks if he'll go out with him, and they begin their quest to get revenge on Christmas.
Seychelles gets out of the shower, thinking about how nice fishing season is, and has her toweled ripped off by Noto-sama and Yamato. Noto-sama then hides behind a bush and yells out at Sanuki and Hinaji that they're wasting their lives when they walk by carrying anime they'd just bought, making them flinch. Noto-sama sticks Kalom's stocking on his head while he sleeps so he won't get presents placed inside them, then goes to a shopping center and ties up the Santa in a lewd manner. Carried by men wearing masks, Noto-sama tells Christmas that he's mightier and tells it to apologize to him in the underworld.
Finally, Noto-sama and Yamato arrive outside of Poland and Lithuania's house through a tip that the people who stole their screentime are hiding out there. Yamato notes that it looks like a fortress, and Noto-sama admits he's right before declaring there's nothing left for him to do but attack it. He bursts through a window and tells everyone to bow down to his excellence. He begins to declare their punishment for taking his screentime, but stops when he realizes that they're all already naked. In the end, Noto-sama and Yamato are striped naked as well, and while Yamato easily starts having a good time, Noto-sama is very uncomfortable being naked as well. Poland declares that it's his house and his rules, and everyone begins chatting excitedly with him offering compliments and drinks. Noto-sama quickly becomes overwhelmed and yells at everyone to shut up. Crying, he says he doesn't understand why everyone's having so much fun and he hates Christmas, while France puts a hand on his shoulder and tells him not to cry. France promises that next Christmas he'll put a smile on his face, and they look at each other with a flowery gaze while the story reaches a "Happy End".
