Liechtenstein and the Hedgehog country (リヒテンシュタインとハリネズミ国家 Rihitenshutain to harinezumi kokka) is the fourth extra episode of Hetalia: The Beautiful World, and the ninth overall in the anime series Hetalia. It was released on DVD on October 30, 2013. Plot Summary
The episode begins with Switzerland and Liechtenstein having a peaceful, happy tea party in a serene, beautiful place.
A Story When Liechtenstein Still Had Long Hair
Back in the time when Liechtenstein still had long hair, she was cared by Switzerland, who continued his guard from the other countries (whom he called "those idiots.") While so, she wondered how her brother maintained his independence for hundreds of years, even though he was surrounded by great, powerful countries. Liechtenstein then imagined him to be skillful and had strong weapons, yet his storehouse had nothing but old, tattered airplanes. When Switzerland returned, he found a shivering, scared Liechtenstein, much to his confusion.
Mochi Liechtenstein
Mochi Liechtenstein is shown in a corner, saying "Liechten!" sadly.
Liechtenstein and the Hedgehog Country
Later, Liechtenstein questioned Switzerland about his arsenal. He admitted that his planes were, indeed, old, but he also said that his house was very difficult to invade and his technology for weapon was superior. He showed Liechtenstein cargos of various weapons, one of which he sold to Germany. Liechtenstein soon realised that, due to lack of flat lands and mines, Switzerland had to import materials, made and sell weapons to other countries, in exchange of food and other necessities.
Mochi Liechtenstein, Part 2
Mochi Liechtenstein is now shown in the center of the screen, saying "Liechten!" happily.
The Hedgehog and "Sorry!" From the Allies
Germany phoned Switzerland for more weapons, which the latter agreed, as long as his money was paid. He packed a cargo of weapons for Germany, yet it was crashed by a falling wrench. On the sky, an Allied plane flew by, with America "apologised" for his mistake, while England sarcastically added that they did not aim for the cargo at all, much to Switzerland's anger.
Mochi Switzerland
An angry Mochi Switzerland is shown during the transition.
Christmas Request Comics
In present, France asks Switzerland to join with other countries, which the latter refuses. However, France continues to poke him and asks him to open himself, only to be angrily refused. Switzerland claims to be good on his own, yet his claim is denied when Austria points out that he has been on good terms with Germany, thus embarrassing the Swiss.
Mochi Liechtenstein & Mochi Switzerland
In the transition, the two mochis are shown together, with Mochi Liechtenstein being the happy one, along with an angry Mochi Switzerland.
The scene changes back to the tea party between Liechtenstein and Switzerland, who commented that the tea was good.
