Plot Summary
Japan holds a meeting at his place today. Germany tells Italy to calm down, as the latter was very excited about the meeting. Japan greets them with a long, formal speech, but Italy interrupts and asks him to talk like a friend, much to Germany's annoyance.
Next, Italy introduces Japan as a "typical Japanese" and a serious man. During a meeting about machines, Italy comments that Japan spoke on equal terms with Germany, talked about "difficult stuffs" and did not chat in a meeting. Italy then sings, but is stopped by Germany. He also tells Japan that he did not understand the meeting at all. So, Japan opens another meeting on how to make the meeting easy for Italy to understand. Nevertheless, as Germany and Japan conclude the second meeting, they find Italy already fell asleep.
In a hot spring, Italy is shown being happy and playful, which Japan thinks that the former had gotten all the energy back. Together, they discuss about the similarities between their cultures. Italy ends up wanting to show his samurai to Japan, surprising the latter. A moment later, Germany comes into the hot spring, only to be shocked and confused when he sees Italy wearing nothing but a "samurai vest". It is explained that it was a vest with many pockets, and that it was called "samurai" due to its resemblances with the samurai armor.
Later, the Axis Powers toast to the Tripartite Pact. As Japan is about to drink his wine glass, Italy stops him, saying that he was too young to drink alcohol. Japan replies that he was older than Italy, but the latter thinks of it as a joke and offers him juice. Even though, Japan still insists that he was telling the truth.
