Hetalia ~in the new world~ (ヘタリア～in the new world～?)[1], is the third stage musical adaption of Hetalia: Axis Powers (though it uses branding from the sixth season of the anime, Hetalia: The World Twinkle). It ran from July 15 - 17, 2017 at the NHK Osaka Hall in Osaka and from July 21 - August 2, 2017 at Theatre 1010 in Tokyo.[2][3] The staff from the previous two musicals returned - including writer Yūsei Naruse, director Kōtarō Yoshitani, and composer tak. MAMORU once again handled choreography.[4]

Cast

The main cast was announced on April 20, 2017. The majority of the main cast returned from the previous musical, with the exception of Takeshi James Yamada, as the Spain character was not slated to appear. Additionally, Takuya Kikuchi reprises his role as Austria from the first musical.[4]

Members of the cast ensemble include Shōji Nakata, Ryōta Obigane, Ryō Yamada, Kenta Chatani, Rio Shinkai, Naoki Machida, Ryouhei Yamauchi, Tatsuya Ichinose, Kei Yamaguchi, Yoshiki Hashimoto.

Performances

Tickets cost ¥7900 (Approx. $70 US) each, and were made available early through e+ from April 30 - May 7, 2017, with two lotteries occurring from June 1 - 11 and June 17 - 28. General ticket sales begun on July 14, 2017.[5]
