Dora the Explorer is an American educational animated television series created by Chris Gifford, Valerie Walsh, and Eric Weiner. In 2010 Himaruya referenced the show in a series of sketches about Mochi America. In Hetalia Fantasia 2, it is mentioned that America's Weakness #238 is Dora the Explorer.

Haruhi Suzumiya
Haruhi Suzumiya (涼宮ハルヒ Suzumiya Haruhi) is the general name for a series of light novels written by Nagaru Tanigawa and illustrated by Noizi Ito. Himaruya posted illustrations of Hetalia characters cosplaying this series circa 2007.

Nihon-chan (ニホンちゃん Nihon-chan) is a fictional nation-tan that was created on the website 2channel in 2001, and spawned nation-tans for a handful of other characters as well. On August 16, 2006 Himaruya posted fanart of this series on an oekaki board and later included it as an omake drawing for the webcomic Japan vs. Italy.

Rozen Maiden (ローゼンメイデン Rōzen Meiden) is a manga series created by Peach-Pit which was serialized in Monthly Comic Birz until 2007, before resuming serialization in Weekly Young Jump the following year. In 2013, Himaruya referenced the series through blog posts and drawings.
