Gakuen Hetalia

Gakuen Hetalia (Academy Hetalia, or alternatively, School Hetalia) is an unfinished dating sim project by Hidekaz Himaruya, based off of his Axis Powers Hetalia series. In this alternative universe game, the cast are all in their teens and attend the multicultural private high school, The Academy Of The World. The player character is Seychelles, a new transfer student.

Summary (incomplete demo)

Seychelles arrives at her new school, looking around at the vast campus. Suddenly, she is approached by England, and after they talk some, he clamps a dog collar around her neck (much to her horror and his amusement). After some further conversation, we cut to a brief beach flashback of Seychelles as a narrator tells her story.

Back at the school, England finally lets Seychelles go, and she wanders the halls. She spots China, as the caption "Guy With A Panda" appears (due to him carrying a panda around in his backpack). Seychelles and China talk a little, Seychelles finding his panda to be very cute. As the school bells ring, Seychelles heads off to her Africa class. However, she finds it rather hard to fit in while introducing herself.

After class is over and Seychelles muses over her embarrassment, we can see two paramedics carrying off an injured student on a stretcher. As she walks further, she collides with Italy, who falls and hits his head on the hard marble floor. He looks up at her, smiling and holding a crepe, but is overcome by his emotions and the pain in his head and passes out. In a sight gag subtitled "Go To Heaven", his soul flees his body to join angel versions of Estonia and Latvia.

As Seychelles freaks out at the unconscious Italy, Japan appears and manages to revive him. After some conversation with the two boys, Seychelles leaves to go to the library, where she once again sees England. France soon arrives, and more backstory of Seychelles is unveiled, revealing that France raised her as a child. When we cut back to the present day, he attempts to flirt with her and undress her, much to her shock and embarrassment. The demo cuts off after some conversation between France, England, and Seychelles.

The Africa Class

In the incomplete demo, these characters are represented as super-deformed (or chibi) heads in speech balloons, in the Africa classroom sequence. It is unknown if the characters play any larger role in the extended game. These ten other characters, like Seychelles, are each named after an African territory:

In The Manga

Though the actual game still remains incomplete as of this writing, the Gakuen universe was briefly revisited in the second published volume of the Axis Powers Hetalia manga.

In Academy Hetalia Christmas, the teenage versions of the Axis (Germany, Italy, and Japan) go around the school to survey the other students on how they celebrate their Christmas. The Allies (including Russia) also make an appearance, along with Switzerland and Finland.
