Hetalia Song Chronology | ||||
|
Marukaite Chikyuu is the ending theme to Axis Powers Hetalia. It is the current and only ending theme so far and it is sung by Daisuke Namikawa in the voice of North Italy.
In the second season of the anime, this version has been replaced in various episodes by a different character's version:
- Germany's version was used at the end of Episode 27 (the first episode of the second season), Episode 32 (the sixth episode) and Episode 38 (the twelfth episode). Initially, the TV-size version accidentally used the second verse of the chorus instead of the first.
- Japan's version was used in Episode 30 (the fourth episode), Episode 34 (the eighth episode), and Episode 36: Why Americans Love Spring (the tenth episode). The mistake that happened with Germany's version was initially repeated, but was later corrected.
- Russia became the first member of the Allied Forces to have his version used, at the end of Episode 42 (the sixteenth episode) and Episode 43 (the seventeenth episode).
- England's version was later used at the end of Episode 46: Medieval England's Clothes And Hair (the twentieth episode).
- France's version was used at the end of Episode 47 (the twenty-first episode) and Episode 59 (counted as the seventh episode for World Series).
- America's Version was used at the end of Episode 49 (the twenty-third episode) and Episode 51 (the twenty-fifth episode).
- China's Version was used at the end of Episode 58 (counted as the sixth episode for World Series).
The early episodes of World Series also used this ending theme.

Translated Lyrics
Hey hey papa, give me wine!
Hey hey mama, hey hey mama!
I can't forget the taste,
Of the bolognese I ate before!
Draw a circle, there's Earth!
Draw a circle, there's Earth!
Draw a circle, there's Earth!
I'm Hetalia!
Draw a circle, there's Earth!
Looking closely, there's Earth!
Or maybe it's Earth?
I'm Hetalia!
Ah, with just a stroke of paint,
A wonderful world can be seen
Let's have a toast with our boots!
Hetalia!
("Ah, I'm hungry. I want to eat pasta!")
Draw a circle, there's Earth!
Draw a circle, there's Earth!
Draw a circle, there's Earth!
I'm Hetalia!
Draw a circle, there's Earth!
Suddenly, there's Earth!
Lie on your back, there's Earth!
I'm Hetalia!
Ah, with just some boiling,
A recipe that will make you cry with joy
("The noodles are al dente.")
The zipper of dreams is fully opened!
Hetalia!
Hey, hey, fratello, give me pasta!
While you're at it, sorella, please boil it!
Oi, oi, nonno, peace is great
Yes, yes, bambino (is that for me?)
Here, here, papa, give me wine
Hey, hey, mama, hey, hey mama!
I can't forget the taste,
Of the bolognese I ate before!
Hetalia
Hetalia
Useless Hetalia!
Draw a circle, there's Earth!
Draw a circle, there's Earth!
Draw a circle, there's Earth!
I'm Hetalia!
Ah, with just a stroke of paint,
A wonderful world can be seen
Let's have a toast with our boots!
Hetalia!
Ah, a sleeping recipe of joy in the world
An exploration with our boots!
Hetalia!
Italian Lyrics
Hey hey papà, dammi il vino!
Hey hey mamma, hey hey mamma!
Hetalia!
(“Ah, ho fame. Voglio mangiare la pasta!”)
Disegna un cerchio, ecco la Terra!
Disegna un cerchio, ecco la Terra!
Disegna un cerchio, ecco la Terra!
Io sono Hetalia!
Disegna un cerchio, ecco la Terra!
All’improvviso, ecco la Terra!
Hey hey mamma, hey hey mamma!
La Bolognese che ho mangiato molto tempo fa,
non posso dimenticarne il sapore!
Hetalia
Hetalia
Inutile Hetalia!
Disegna un cerchio, ecco la Terra!
Disegna un cerchio, ecco la Terra!
Disegna un cerchio, ecco la Terra!
Io sono Hetalia!
Ah, con un solo tratto di pittura,
Un meraviglioso mondo può essere visto
Facciamo un brindisi con i nostri stivali!
Hetalia!
Ah, la ricetta addormentata della felicità nel mondo,
Esploriamo con i nostri stivali!
Hetalia!

Trivia
- It has become somewhat of a popular fandom meme to cover the song in one's own language, and upload the cover as a video to YouTube. Compilation fanvideos have been made of the various covers, and have also been posted to NicoNicoDouga (to mixed reactions). The Finnish cover of the song became infamous when it was used in a cosplay "stage battle" skit between a Germany cosplayer and one of Pyramid Head, with several Hetalia cosplayers surrounding Pyramid Head and singing him into submission with it.
- In the ending sequence featuring the song, it was originally planned for all of the Allies and Axis to "toast to the boot", but the sequence became reworked to be more Axis-centric at the end.
