The main portion of this comic was removed from Kitayume sometime in 2008, presumably due to sensitive content.

America attempts to reduce the willpower of Japan and Russia, but his plans backfire. In a bonus illustration, America and Italy wonder where they can read "The Atmosphere", having misunderstood the phrase. This comic was later adapted in Episode 41 of the anime series.

After enduring taunts from France, England visits a young America and cooks for him. As he leaves, America becomes upset and England promises to visit again soon. Later, England returns to discover that America has grown bigger than him. This comic was later adapted in Episode 25 and Episode 47 of the anime series. It was also redrawn as part of "England, Dreaming of Days Long Passed" from Hetalia: Axis Powers Volume 3.

Himaruya instead drew a strip in the style of bara (roses), making a pun on the term. Austria notices that Italy has put on his tie in a crooked fashion. The two share an awkward "romantic" moment, complete with roses in the background, as Austria fixes it. Meanwhile, France and Spain realize that several frying pans have gone missing. A following illustration showed the evolution of Italy's hair curl.

America industrializes and ends up producing too much stuff, causing a stock market crash and the Great Depression. At the world meeting he is yelled at by the other nations, save for Russia who wasn't affected. As a resulr, Russia shows up and takes Lithuania back to his house.

Germany, confused by the cultural differences between himself and Italy, reads a book to try to understand and communicate with him better. However, after Austria interprets Italy's affections as "vulgar", Germany begins to grow concerned. The next day, Italy gives Germany flowers, which the latter interprets as a love confession. Extremely anxious, Germany accepts and immediately goes to buy dating advice books. This comic was later adapted in the episode "Buon San Valentino - First Part" of the anime series.

After hearing about the Olympics from Greece, specifically how all the athletes competed naked, France decides to revive them. When England shows up, he comes across a naked France, who attempts to take his clothes off as well, leading to his arrest. This comic was later reprinted as "Big Brother France's Olympian Love" from Hetalia: Axis Powers Volume 2. It was also adapted in Episode 35 of the anime series.

Lithuania is exhausted by the heavy workload he's gotten since his return to Russia's house. He passes out on a couch and later wakes up next to Russia, who asks him what he was dreaming about. Lithuania concedes that he was dreaming about when he was younger and happier, and Russia reveals that he dreams about living in a warm place surrounded by sunflowers.

Immediately after Maria Theresa is crowned the arch-duchess of Austria, Prussia announces his intention to seize Austrian territory. The conflict later expands to include France, Spain, England, and finally Hungary. Most of this comic was later edited and reprinted as "Chaos at Daybreak" from Hetalia: Axis Powers Volume 1. It was also adapted in Episode 64 and Episode 65 of the anime series.

In the follow-up to "Maria Theresa and the War of Austrian Succession", England forms an alliance with Prussia due to Austria allying himself with France. After Austria is further weakened by the war, Hungary prepares to enact revenge on Prussia. Most of this comic was later edited and reprinted as "Maria Theresa and the Seven Years' War" from Hetalia: Axis Powers Volume 4.
