Haruhi Suzumiya
Haruhi Suzumiya (涼宮ハルヒ Suzumiya Haruhi) is the general name for a series of light novels written by Nagaru Tanigawa and illustrated by Noizi Ito. Himaruya posted illustrations of Hetalia characters cosplaying this series circa 2007.
Italy and Japan dressed as Haruhi Suzumiya and Yuki Nagato, respectively.
Hungary dressed as Mikuru Asahina.
Rozen Maiden
Rozen Maiden (ローゼンメイデン Rōzen Meiden) is a manga series created by Peach-Pit which was serialized in Monthly Comic Birz until 2007, before resuming serialization in Weekly Young Jump the following year. In 2013, Himaruya referenced the series through blog posts and drawings.
