I've found mention that the micronation is defunct (on wikipedia, for example), but I haven't been able to find any sources on it or any specific information. Defunct

- I searched for a good hour, but the only earliest reference about the micronation that I could find was from 2008, stating the number of people that claimed they were citizens of Kugelmugel. "republik-kugelmugel.com" appears to be the website of the the Micronations, but I its in German. But currently, in English resources, I can't find anything.
