Russia/Latvia is a slash pairing in Hetalia: Axis Powers between the characters Russia and Latvia. The pairing is often called RusLat (from their nation names, Russia and Latvia) by fans, and is a fast growing pairing in the fanon world.

Although Latvia is terrified of Russia, people like to put them together as Latvia is seen as following Russia around on trips, such as visiting Ukraine, and Russia doesn't seem to hurt him as much as the others under his rule. The pairing ranges from usually quite soft and involves Latvia learning not to be so scared of Russia, but it also goes into the depths of brutal non-consensual sex.

Fan Speculations

This pairing considered to be shota since Latvia has a human age of 15 years old and has the body of a child. In some cases it shows that Russia holds some feelings for Latvia but hides it by bullying him.

Russia likes to "play" with Latvia by stretching him, which causes Latvia to cry and Estonia to worry.
