Ludwig is a main character in the series Axis Powers Hetalia. He is the representation of Germany, and leads the Axis Powers.

Appearance
He is a tall, muscular man with blonde hair and blue eyes. His uniform is generally green in the manga illustrations, but teal in the anime (though he wears a different green uniform in the first two episodes).
Personality And Interests
A serious man who always abides by the rules, Ludwig has to deal with an unreasonable boss along with the troublemaking Feliciano. He won't stand to make any mistakes, is a neat freak, and happens to have a rather pessimistic nature. His hobbies include making sweets, reading, and walking his dogs.
Relationships
Feliciano Vargas (North Italy)

After discovering Feliciano hiding in a crate, Ludwig took him prisoner but eventually got annoyed and sent him back, only for the other man to come back and declare himself his ally. Despite their differences, the two have a rather close relationship, much to the disapproval of Feliciano's older brother Lovino, who hates Ludwig.
It is hinted, but not yet confirmed, that Ludwig may be the Holy Roman Empire, having lost his childhood memories.
Kiku Honda (Japan)

The last member to join the Axis team, Kiku had known Ludwig for some time (as depicted in the original strips). He is also rather serious, but quiet and inexperienced to the outside world.
Gilbert Beilschmidt (Prussia)

Ludwig's older brother and drinking buddy, who refers to him as "West".
